Mindfulness in Action… In my Studio… For Groups and/or Individuals

The 8 Week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course (MBSR) as taught by Jon Kabat-Zin.

Over the 8 weekly lessons, the course addresses themes and methodologies whilst living and experiencing the exercises during the course.

The course, not only gives theoretic and scientific knowledge of our thought and emotional patterns, but moreover is also experiential, therefore over this period of time the participant learns, embodies and practices these techniques and at the same time is guided through the journey.

The participant is given the opportunity of noticing that when these exercises are practiced, they can reduce stress, bring awareness and understanding to our emotional patterns, behavioural reactions and bring a feeling of peace and serenity.

The lessons last for about 2 and a half hours each and are organised every 2 months, so keep an eye out for the dates on the Calendar. Please contact me for the introduction and presentation sheet for the course and a ‘little awareness test’ for a taster.

The 8 Week Mindfulness based Cognitive therapy (MBCT)

The course lasts the same time as the MBSR course and addresses the same themes including themes such as Sadness, Depression and Living with Pain and Illnesses.

Courses are available in groups and/or individually, and decided together during a first meeting to which approach could fit the participants needs… so please contact me…

Individual sessions are also available via ‘Conference Call’.
